New codes for LOGO is ready for ues!

The "Real Estate In Vancouver" webring now has a new set of codes for the LOGO to be used on your site. After many changes with the WebRing system in the past years many participants of the WebRing were confused with the navigation bar (i.e., the LOGO) provided by the system (me too was confused). As the WebRing system seems to become quite stable recently I have now re-designed our LOGO for use in this Real Estate In Vancouver Webring, it will be automatically generated by a set of HTML codes placed on a webpage. The LOGO looks nice and the codes are simple to use. I highly recommend all Members make use of these codes!

Get the codes below:

The LOGO below is produced from the codes in the TEXT BOX next to it. Instructions on use of the codes come below the TEXT BOX...

Instructions on the use of these codes:

1. Installation of LOGO on your web page:
Copy the entire block of texts inside the TEXT BOX and paste the texts on your web page's HTML file, then follow step 2 next. Please make sure you paste the codes on the web page of which the URL was registered with the WebRing system.

2. Make sure to change the ID# in the codes for your web page:
The above codes contain the text strings id=++id++ (there are totally 4 of them). You must replace the code ++id++ with the site ID assigned to your site. (RingMaster's site ID is 10, so the 4 sets of id=++id++ in the above codes were all changed to id=10 for use in the LOGO displayed above.) In most cases completing steps 1 & 2 will be all you need to do.

3. Change the border colour and text colour:
The colour for the border and texts of the LOGO is "sky blue" (color code: #0000CC). This will work fine with most pages in light-coloured background. If the background colour of your web page is relatively dark, you may wish to change the border and text colour of the LOGO into a lighter colour. Simply use the "Replace All" feature of your word processing program to replace the color code #0000CC in the above codes. You need to replace exactly 10 items for the entire text block. (For your information: Color code for WHITE is #FFFFFF and this will work fine with most dark-coloured backgrounds.)

4. Questions?
I assume each of you has your own Webmaster to look after your website so the above should be easy for them to handle. However, say if you don't know the ID# of your site, or if you have questions about this Ring, just email me and I'll find it out for you! Also, please don't hesitate to introduce others to join this Ring (make sure their site objective meets our requirements) - Let's make this site strong with many good quality Ring Members!
